As Principal UX Architect at Mobiquity (a mobile agency with ~450 employees and 12 offices in 4 countries), I pitched and won work, served as the primary liaison for clients and led my own creative team of 6-10. Here is a handy tool for tracking creative deliverables. I worked as both Project Manager and UX Architect on two projects over the last 3 months. We had an informal system of verbal check-ins to understand the status of a given item. While this worked just fine for our small team, we had no “big picture” view and ran the risk of missing something that had been requested or promised as we rushed to deliver, refine and evolve.
I believe in using the minimum structure necessary to accomplish our goals. We need a tight knit team with good communication, an in-person, human centered and participatory process. The project was to create a new website as part of a rebranding campaign and upgrade from static HTML to WordPress for a local nonprofit.
This was a 9 month project that started in September 2012 and launched July 2013.
The Omega Boys Club, founded in San Francisco in 1987, works with youth to end violence. Alive & Free is an Omega Boys Club life-changing program. Young people who have learned the Alive & Free prescription have a new set of life skills to make choices that help them go to college, succeed in life, and give back to their communities
Fenton is a social change communications agency founded in 1982 and with offices in 5 cities.
